Breakfast Granola Bangers

Breakies can be hard especially when on the go

So I’ve put together a bunch of easy nutritious and fast recipes for those who need breakie inspo



Maya’s Speedy Breakie Granola


Served best with almond (any alternative milk) or cows milk

Prep time 5 mins

Bake time: 15 mins skill level: easy peasy lemon squeezy


Granola ingredients

- 100 g of shredded coconut

- 50 g of chopped almonds

- 50 g of chopped hazelnuts/ walnuts

- ½ cup of raisins

- ½ cup of medjool dates

- 100 ml maple syrup, or honey

- 70ml of coconut oil

- 1 tsp of mixed spice

- 1 tsp of vanilla bean extract

- 1 tsp of cinnamon


Super speedy method

- Pre heat oven to 170 degrees, line a baking tray with baking paper

- Mix all dry ingredients together, then add the melted coconut oil and honey/maple syrup

- Spread mixture onto a baking tray

- Bake granola for 10- 15 minutes or until granola is golden brown.

- When the granola is cool, put it into a jar.


Makes 7 serves





Chocrette granola


This granola puts the chocolate in chocrette

Best with almond (any alternative milk) or cows milk

Prep time 5 mins

Bake time: 15mins Skill level: easy peasy lemon squeezy Vegan


Granola ingredients:

1 cup of coconut chips

1 cup of puffed quinoa

½ cup of shredded coconut

½ cup of chopped almonds

½ cup chopped hazelnuts

¼ cup cacao powder

100 g of maple syrup

60 ml olive oil/ or coconut oil


Super speedy method

- Pre heat oven to 170 degrees, line a baking tray with baking paper

- Mix all dry ingredients together, then add olive oil or the melted coconut oil and maple syrup

- Spread mixture onto a baking tray

- Bake granola for 10- 15 minutes or until granola is golden brown.

- When the granola is cool, put it into a jar.

Makes 7 serves
